I'm a software engineer in Chicago. I mostly work on the backend: services, pipelines, and the tooling other people rely on without having to think about it.
Most recently that meant ad-buying infrastructure at FreeWheel. Before that, incident management and data pipelines at Hughes Network Systems.
I'm looking for my next role, especially backend or forward-deployed work where I'm close to the people using what I build.
